Te Mata Peak Wildlife Park

Where families enjoy time together on the slopes of Te Mata Peak, Havelock North, NZ

Welcome to Te Mata Peak Wildlife Park spread over nine acres on the lower slopes of Te Mata Peak.

Here you will see all the latest information about us including the development of our wildlife park, wilderness walks and the animals and birds that live here.

Our wildlife park will connect to some of Te Mata Peak's reserve walks, meaning you will be able to extend your stroll into other areas of Te Mata Peak.

OPENING IN 2017...

We are open for self contained motor home stays in our wilderness site.

Please look around and visit our gallery to see pictures of our Park sites and the animals that live there.

When you visit us you will see some of the different animals and birds, some wild, some tame but all beautiful. These animals and birds roam free over nine acres of bush and pastureland.

Currently the tracks through the area are not fully developed, however you are welcome to explore the area around the camp site.

You can use the contact form to get in contact with us, or give us a call. See the details on the contact page

You are welcome to book ahead to stay at our wilderness site overnight in a self contained motorhome or just give us a call on the day you arrive.

Day visits to the wildlife park will begin in 2017 once it is fully developed. Keep an eye on our site for an opening date!
